About the Role

We are seeking a KYC/CDD Onboarding Remediation Analyst on a contract basis to support remediation exercises for customer onboarding and due diligence files.

This role is project-based and focuses on reviewing and updating existing customer records to meet current regulatory and internal compliance standards, rather than day-to-day BAU onboarding.

The successful candidate will perform detailed KYC/CDD file reviews, identify information gaps, and work with internal stakeholders to ensure files are complete and compliant. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel are key for maintaining trackers, preparing reports, and supporting overall project execution.

This is a contract role for 1 year

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed KYC/CDD file reviews to identify missing information, documentation, or inconsistencies.

  • Update and remediate customer files in accordance with MAS AML/CFT regulations (PSN01, MAS 626) and internal standards.

  • Liaise with Compliance, Operations, and Front Office teams to obtain outstanding documents or clarify customer information.

  • Maintain and update Excel trackers to monitor remediation progress and status of assigned files.

  • Support the preparation of regular progress updates and metrics for project reporting.

  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of remediated files before submission for QA or management review.

  • Escalate higher-risk cases or unresolved issues to the Remediation Manager or Compliance team promptly.

  • Assist with ad-hoc remediation or data clean-up initiatives as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.

  • 1 year experience in KYC/CDD, corporate client onboarding, AML, or compliance roles.

  • Prior exposure to remediation or large-scale KYC review projects in Financial Institutions regulated by Monetary Authority of Singapore or other FATF standards are highly preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data management).

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (preferable).

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and manage workload in line with project deadlines.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills to engage with multiple internal stakeholders.
